Helcaraxë's been a bit silent for a while with some band health and family issues that have been going on, but we're hoping to get going again soon with a few shows this spring and our new LP "Red Dragon" going to press shortly!
We've also just launched an updated webstore - so check our our cheap merch here and let us know if we've got any bugs in the new store install.

We've put our entire discography up on bandcamp this week, so you can stream or download all our releases at helcaraxe.bandcamp.com
When you download the "No God to Save You" EP, you'll get a free bonus MP3 of our cover of Unleashed's "Onward into Countless Battles".
And when you download our "Broadsword" LP, you'll get a previously unreleased bonus track with Helcaraxë covering "God Song" by Bad Religion.

We're happy to announce that the long delayed split 7" with Finland's masters of old school death metal, ASCENDED, is finally released!! Strictly limited to 500 copies on high quality black wax, this release offers the listener 2 exclusive tracks per band of dark, morbid death metal. While the bands will have copies to sell soon, right now it is available through Regimental Records Webstore for just $5.00!

We are playing a show in Philadelphia, PA on the 28th of this month with Hollenlarm, Pillars of Villainy, and Japanese Sunday. All the bands are really good, so come check it out. Click the "shows" tab for address to venue!

Mikael Stanne, shows, release news...

We are excited and absolutely honored to announce that the amazing Mikael Stanne of Dark Tranquillity has recorded a guest vocal spot for a track called 'Skin Changer' on our forthcoming 'Red Dragon' full length.
We just heard the takes yesterday and they're outstanding. Can't wait to share the new music with everyone, but for the time being we're still hard at work on the finishing touches!
In other news, we've got a show tonight in our hometown - with Hate at the Championship Bar in Trenton, NJ. We're also playing in South Jersey next month - details are on the shows page.
Finally, our long-delayed split 7" with Ascended is finally officially out to press. We'll post more updates when we have it in hand!

1) I recently conducted an interview for Mark Morton's excellent column at Examiner.com - check it out at this link.
2) Our t-shirts are in, and the pre-orders have shipped. If you ordered one, expect it soon. If you haven't gotten yours yet, get one here. We'll also be working on a new webstore soon to make life easier with merch again.

No webstore for a bit...

Our webstore got hacked, so we had to take it down for the time being until we get time to install something more secure. Anyone interested in merch in the meantime should just drop us an email.
We've been waiting for news on our split 7" with Ascended, but apparently the vinyl plant where it was being pressed had shut down for a while due to the summer heat. Hopefully that'll be out soon and we'll let you know as soon as we get it.
