Recording updates and split 7

Tracking for guitars on our upcoming RED DRAGON LP has completed, and the bass work is 80% done as well. Now that Pat's home temporarily between Swashbuckle tours, we'll be finishing up his bass parts and starting soon on vocals. It's coming along really nicely and is going to be epic and crushing, in true Helcaraxë fashion.
Additionally, our split 7" with Finland's Ascended is out to press right now and should be released some time this month. We'll post more updates when it's out.

Hey everyone!
We're still alive out here. I figured since we haven't had a real update in a while that I'd let you all know what's going on.
Some upcoming releases:
We've been busier than ever before, with our long anticipated split 7" vinyl with Finland's morbid death metallers ASCENDED and a vinyl picture LP version of our critically acclaimed "BROADSWORD" album coming out SOON! Check back for more information, or keep up to date with Regimental Records.
Some new recordings:
We've started the recording process for our next full length record, entitled "RED DRAGON". I sincerely believe this is the best thing we've ever written. It certainly has the most man-hours put into it. We hope to have the recording done within the next couple months as we fine tune things and then perhaps a release date this summer. We'll keep you posted!
The occult black metal band OPEN GRAVE, of which most of us are also members, will be releasing its first full length record (and first official release in 6 years) very soon on Regimental Records. The record is titled "FEAR" and has been nearly done for a year now. We are now just awaiting completion of artwork before it goes to press. You can hear samples from "FEAR" on the OPEN GRAVE myspace.

Our condolences to Father Befouled

This month, Antichristus, the drummer of Father Befouled, took his own life. As Father Befouled's history is also now tied to Helcaraxë's, I'd like to express on behalf of everyone here our deepest condolences to all who have been affected by this tragedy. We can only hope that the torment he must have felt in life has been calmed in death. We hope that everyone in Father Befouled is dealing with this well and AC's memory will live on.

The crushing new tracks for our split with Ascended are complete and as soon as the layout gets finished, the record will be going to press. We'll keep you posted...
Pat's away again, touring with his other band, Swashbuckle - so in the meantime we're laying out some rough ideas for our next full length. We hope to get officially to work on recording it early in 2010.
New webstore up

We've just launched a redesigned merch store that's hooked into Paypal and will make ordering our music much easier. Shipping on all US orders is free, and our international shipping is very cheap because we like to keep our music at a low cost for fans. Our split LP with Father Befouled is now available in the store in both CD and 12" vinyl format.

We spent the last couple days in the outstanding Skylight Studio in Fairless Hills, PA and will soon have 2 brand new tracks, Dark Sorcery and The Morbid Force. They'll be coming out on an upcoming split 7" with Finland's Ascended on Enucleation Records. They're sounding better than anything we've done so far and we're quite excited for the completed tracks.
Additionally, the CD version of our split LP with Father Befouled is now out as well. Head to Enucleation's site for more details, and we should have copies for sale shortly!

Broadsword bring pressed, Split almost done as well

Broadsword's been sent out to press by the excellent Regimental Records, so we should have the new LP in hand shortly. Additionally, our tracks for our split CD with Father Befouled are finished and they'll have theirs done shortly as well. Expect that to be out later this summer. And since we work ceaselessly on punishing new material, we may also be putting together a split 7" release with Ascended from Finland. More on that later!
Broadsword nearing release!

The cover painting for our new Broadsword LP has been completed and it looks completely killer. We are incredibly excited about how excellent it has turned out. The layout will be put together in the next week or two and then it's off to press for this brutal album! More soon...
